"Ani Ma'amin," the Twelve Essentials of the Thirteen Principles of Jewish Faith, is a video installation created as the entrance-way experience at the museum. The opening experience deals with the theme of a symbolic Jewish prayer, which affirms and reaffirms one's belief daily. The sound and meaning of the prayer is intertwined with the appearance of typographical elements reflecting our complex relationship to faith and the existential need to cling to the hope of each new day.
